Swing for the Stars
Connect to other space and satellite professionals in the DC area . . and . . . drop your golf score! (Free event)
In August of 2023 I got on a plane in Dulles and flew to Utah to interview somebody who lives in Arlington. What’s wrong with this picture?
People in the DC area travel to conferences all over the world to meet colleagues who live in their backyard.
To that end, I have begun to assemble list of innovators, entrepreneurs, and policy makers from today’s satellite and space industries who are interested in forming a vibrant community.

5 PM November 1, 2023 “Swing for the Stars”
Agenda:
-
20 minutes: you listen
We will bring in a "blue chip" speaker to present something like "What's Hot and What's Not" in the satellite and space community.
-
20 minutes: you talk
Meet the speaker, introduce yourself to other guests, connect with previous colleagues, maybe even put together a group to share a bay at Top Golf.
-
20 minutes: you swing those clubs
In football, you can run, pass or hand off. Here, you can get a bay to hit some golf balls, share a beverage, or stay and continue the discussion in the meeting room.
