We are recording this interview from Monk’s BBQ in lovely downtown Purcellville, VA. The light fixture above Vishwas in today’s interview was made out of an empty whiskey bottle.
Everyone has seen AI with articles and even deep fake videos. No doubt it is dazzling, great for a conversation at a picnic with friends.
The question is . . . can you put AI in work boots?
Vishwas Lele has a novel idea: combine the best of AI with the best of proposal writing. Further, his innovation can be applied to an environment where data must be held securely. Yes, we are talking about proposals for the federal government community.
Vishwas describes the Microsoft approach to AI – differentiates between free and paid Chat GPT as well as the free and paid versions of CoPilot. He describes how Microsoft CoPilot can provide FedRAMP High-Approved Services.
"Writing is an art, AI by itself is never going to be able to do that. I shouldn’t say never, at least in the current stage, is not going to be able to do that. By augmenting the vision that is provided by your proposal writers, your account team . . . . combine it with things generative Ai is good at . . "
When it comes to writing proposals for the federal government, we have several factors to consider:
1 AI depends on data libraries. If the proposal must include reviewing classified data, then precautions must be taken with forming data libraries.
2 Proposal writing is an art, not a science. By now, we have all heard of “hallucinations” provided by AI – my personal favorite is Napoleon being part of the American Civil War.
